This year marks GradConnection’s 3rd annual Top 100 Graduate Employers of Australia Awards in conjunction with Fairfax’s Australian Financial Review. The list ranks the most popular graduate programs in Australia as voted by student clicks on the GradConnection site.
Each year two thirds of Australia’s University student’s visit GradConnection in search of the best graduate employment opportunities throughout Australia. During peak graduate recruitment season this equates to 200,000 unique views of 350 plus employer graduate and internship programs from around Australia.
To compile our Top 100, we track which employers had the most application clicks on the site based on actual user behaviour recorded over 12 months. The ranking of each employer in the list is a reflection of student interest in their graduate program.

- Grad Employer (Small): Protiviti
- Internship: Deloitte
- Accounting, Professional Services and Consulting: Deloitte
- Retail and FMCG: ALDI
- Engineering and Resources: Jacobs
- Government and Defence: Queensland Government
- Banking, Finance and Insurance: Westpac
- Infrastructure, Utilities and Logistics: Mainfreight
- Technology (Large): IBM
- Technology (Small): Thoughtworks
The full list of Australia’s Top 100 Graduate Employers is now public.
Within the top ten this year, Australia’s best performers are Accounting, Professional Services and Consulting (six firms), followed by Retail and FMCG (three employers) and Engineering (one firm). Within the full list, the Government and Defence departments had the greatest mentions with 19 departments ranked in the top 100.
