Talent2's Upskill program provides a job-readying program designed for new entrants in the job market - before they start their working lives. This program gives new entrants the 'edge' over others by providing practical skills in the areas of:

- Working with others and in teams
- Working professionally with customers/clients
- Selling and negotiating
- Time management
- Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint
These programs are not intended to replace customised graduate programs - they remain crucially important. But they do better prepare graduates with some of the common but important skills necessary to successfully contribute earlier on in their recruitment. They also allow for a more targeted focus on company-specific training during work hours, with the common basic elements undertaken before the graduate commences - saving valuable time and money for any business. Thus they are an ideal 'onboarding program' which better prepares the graduates for the requirements of professional working life, while also improving engagement of graduates with the business during the long waiting period between time of hire and actual commencement.
