GradConnection is proud to announce a partnership with Pride and Diversity to help highlight opportunities for university students that identify as being LGBTI. Many students will often feel uncomfortable bringing their whole selves to an interview, or into the workplace when they secure a role.
Pride and Diversity's goal is to break down these barriers to entry for LGBTI graduates by working with, training and promoting organisations who actively encourage and support all employees, regardless of their sex, gender identity or orientation.
GradConnection has just launched a new LGBTI profile, which allows organisations that are members of Pride and Diversity to actively promote their workforce diversity. You can be assured that those organisations that are Pride in Diversity members are actively working with Australia’s peak body in LGBTI workplace inclusion to develop workplaces that are inclusive of all employees.
The first employer to adopt one of these profiles is Chevron.
For those of our members who are interested please visit Pride and Diversity at www.prideindiversity.com.au and look at becoming a member. We believe it’s a great cause and is quickly becoming an attractive differentiator in employer brand and employer culture for a wide variety of students, regardless of how they personally identify.
