Get Started at SEEK HQ! 

I kick off the day at 9am with a cup of coffee and some presentation prep, while enjoying the beautiful views of Melbourne’s city skyline on the office balcony. 

Analysis Work to Fuel SEEK’s AI 

Next, I’ll head to the office’s strategy area to do some analysis which will help guide the development of SEEK’s recommendation models in Asia.  

Cross Team Collaboration 

A hybrid work environment means that being in the office is a great opportunity to meet up and connect with other SEEKers and collaborate in person. One of my favourite things about working at SEEK is getting to collaborate with so many different teams who are all aligned on the same goal – helping job-seekers find their next perfect role! 

Strategy Sprint 

Today my team is kicking off their innovation sprint, where we get to pause our normal work and explore new ideas and technologies the team is passionate about.  

Lunch in the Hub 

It’s finally time for lunch! The 2023 grads started last week, so I took the opportunity to have lunch with them and get to know the new cohort a little bit better.  

Career Development Chat 

After lunch I had a mentoring session with my career coach, where we discussed how I might choose my next rotation based on my different development goals. 

Raiding the Snacks! 

One of the best perks of working at SEEK are the free snacks provided in the office – can't go past a Rainbow Paddle Pop (not sponsored)! 

Mobile App Experiments 

I usually finish my day by checking on some of the experiments my team are running with the mobile apps team in Asia. 

Home Time! 

Around 5pm, it’s time to clock off! There’s heaps to do around the office in Cremorne, so tonight I’m heading to the gym and then meeting some of my friends for dinner.
