Capricorn in Sydney is seeking a proactive IT Service Desk Analyst to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our local office and remote users, collaborating closely with your team lead based in Sydney and our head office in Perth. You will have the flexibility of work-from-home days, including early starts to support our members in New Zealand.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Resolve intricate technical issues promptly with advanced problem-solving techniques, minimizing user disruption.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly and empathetically across various mediums, ensuring timely updates on incidents and requests.
  • Efficiently triage tickets to prioritize tasks and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Utilize IT service management tools for meticulous incident documentation and workflow management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance system performance and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Analyse incident data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for IT and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a cooperative and supportive team environment.
  • Eligibility to  work in Sydney, to start at 6am on work from home days.

You must be close to completing a recognised qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems.
