AustralianSuper 2026/27 Intern Program

Joining for 12 weeks from November to February, you will work on a variety of interesting and challenging business problems, gaining meaningful insights into how we deliver outstanding outcomes for members.

Designed to provide interns with meaningful experiences and insights into the graduate journey, our Intern Program offers a Member, Enterprise and Investments stream.

The 2026/27 Intern Program has opportunities available across all streams:

  • Investments stream: As an Investments stream graduate or intern, you will work across departments that invest on behalf of members and drive long-term performance. Immersing yourself in what is fast becoming one of the world’s largest active fund managers, you will gain exposure to a global investment platform and work alongside experts across asset classes. Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in investment management while developing the technical, analytical and commercial skills to contribute to real investment decisions. In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Investments areas: Australian Equities, International & Private Equities, Asset Allocation, Portfolio Strategy & Risk, Fixed Income, Currency & Credit, Real Assets, Liquidity & Implementation and Investment Services.
  • Member stream: As a Member stream graduate or intern, you will work across departments that support members and shape their experience with the Fund. You will partner with member-focused teams who are passionate about engaging, supporting and growing the Fund’s membership, contributing to initiatives that improve outcomes at every stage of the member journey. Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in member experience, operations and strategy while developing the skills to deliver meaningful outcomes that support members’ financial wellbeing.
In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Member areas: Member Experience & Marketing, Member Governance & Accountability, Member Operations, Member Strategy & Performance, Retirement, Guidance & Advice and Service Delivery.
  • Enterprise stream: As an Enterprise stream graduate or intern, you will work across departments that shape the Fund’s strategy and enable how it operates day to day. Joining collaborative and high-performing teams, you will gain exposure across one or more areas while partnering with and advising colleagues throughout the business.
Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in how large, complex organisations operate while developing the skills to deliver meaningful impact across multiple business areas.
In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Enterprise areas: Finance, Colleagues & Culture, Group Risk, Strategy & Corporate Affairs and Technology, Digital & Data.

AustralianSuper 2027 Graduate Program

Like our Intern Program, our Graduate Program offers Member, Enterprise and Investments streams, providing graduates with the opportunity to rotate through a number of teams across a 24-month journey.

With continuous learning underpinning our Graduate Program, you will benefit from on-the-job career development as well as our tailored graduate development pathway - all designed to support you in building the required skills and capabilities that will set you up for a successful career far beyond the graduate experience.

There are currently no vacancies within the 2027 Graduate Program but as it is a potential pathway following the 2026/27 Intern Program, the Graduate Program will be lightly covered in the Information Session.

What to expect

Within the information session, you can expect to hear from previous interns, our current graduate cohorts and graduate alumni, and the Early & Diverse Careers team.

We will be providing an overview on what is included within an intern or graduate role at AustralianSuper, the recruitment process, and a view into some of our award-winning teams you could be placed in.

Time permitting, we will hold a brief Q&A for any questions that might arise through the session.
