Like our internships, our Graduate Program offers Member, Enterprise and Investments streams, providing graduates with the opportunity to rotate through teams across a two-year journey.
During your rotations you will participate in various development opportunities that will build the required skills and capabilities that will set you up for a successful career far beyond the graduate experience.
Through participation in three 2-week group projects, graduates further develop their foundational knowledge of the Fund’s values and purpose; risk frameworks and ways of working; and our investment philosophy and approach.
You will be fully supported along your journey as a graduate at AustralianSuper. As part of the program, you will have access to both buddies and a range of mentors that will assist in your growth and development.

Following the completion of the Graduate Program, you will continue your AustralianSuper journey in an on-going permanent role.
Enterprise stream
As an Enterprise stream graduate or intern, you will work across departments that shape the Fund’s strategy and enable how it operates day to day. Joining collaborative and high-performing teams, you will gain exposure across one or more areas while partnering with and advising colleagues throughout the business.
Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in how large, complex organisations operate while developing the skills to deliver meaningful impact across multiple business areas.
In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Enterprise areas (please note, Colleagues and Culture is not available for this intake):
- Finance – Analyse performance, support financial reporting and controls, and contribute to insights that drive informed decision-making and sustainable Fund outcomes.
- Colleagues & Culture – Design and deliver colleague programs, support talent and leadership development, and help shape culture and organisational effectiveness across the Fund.
- Group Risk – Apply risk frameworks, support governance processes, and contribute to oversight and compliance activities to help the Fund operate within its risk appetite.
- Strategy & Corporate Affairs – Support strategic planning, transformation initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and communications that shape the Fund’s direction and reputation.
- Technology, Digital & Data – Deliver and support technology platforms, work with data and analytics, and contribute to digital solutions across AI, automation and enterprise systems.
Investments stream
As an Investments stream graduate, you will work across departments that invest on behalf of members and drive long-term performance. Immersing yourself in what is fast becoming one of the world’s largest active fund managers, you will gain exposure to a global investment platform and work alongside experts across asset classes.
Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in investment management while developing the technical, analytical and commercial skills to contribute to real investment decisions.
In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Investments areas:
- Australian Equities – Analyse Australian-listed companies, support research and valuation, and contribute to portfolio construction and active investment decisions.
- International & Private Equities – Work across global markets and private assets, contributing to research, opportunity evaluation and investment execution across both fundamental and systematic (quantitative) equities teams.
- Asset Allocation – Analyse market conditions, model scenarios, and support decisions on how capital is allocated across asset classes.
- Portfolio Strategy & Risk – Assess risks and exposures, support portfolio construction, and contribute to aligning investment decisions with the Fund’s overall risk and return objectives.
- Fixed Income, Currency & Credit – Analyse debt and credit markets, assess interest rate environments, support portfolio positioning, and contribute to managing currency exposures.
- Real Assets – Work on investments in infrastructure, property and other real assets, supporting analysis, portfolio construction and asset management.
- Liquidity & Implementation – Support execution of investment decisions by managing liquidity, assisting with trade implementation, and ensuring efficient portfolio operations.
- Investment Services – Support investment teams through processes, controls, ESG and stewardship activities, and the systems and governance that underpin investment delivery.
Member stream
As a Member stream graduate, you will work across departments that support members and shape their experience with the Fund. You will partner with member-focused teams who are passionate about engaging, supporting and growing the Fund’s membership, contributing to initiatives that improve outcomes at every stage of the member journey.
Through these experiences, you will build a strong foundation in member experience, operations and strategy while developing the skills to deliver meaningful outcomes that support members’ financial wellbeing.
In this stream, you will work across one or more of the following Member areas:
- Member Experience & Marketing – Design and deliver member experiences, support marketing campaigns, analyse customer insights, and help shape how the Fund engages with members.
- Member Governance & Accountability – Support governance frameworks, ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, and contribute to monitoring and reporting that upholds strong accountability.
- Member Operations – Support day-to-day member services by improving processes, enhancing efficiency, and helping deliver accurate and timely outcomes.
- Member Strategy & Performance – Contribute to strategic planning and performance tracking by analysing data, supporting business planning, and monitoring delivery against key outcomes.
- Retirement, Guidance & Products – Support the development and delivery of products, guidance and advice solutions, helping members navigate decisions and achieve better retirement outcomes.
- Service Delivery – Support front-line service models, helping ensure members receive high-quality, consistent and relevant support across channels.

- Be able to commence full time employment commencing January 2027 (2027 Graduate Program)
- Be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
