Axiom has experienced sustained growth in recent years and is currently seeking full-time graduates who want to be part of a close-knit and friendly team. The Axiom Graduate Consultant position offers you:

  • A full-time or part-time role in a local Canberra based firm that is well positioned to continue to expand and provide ongoing opportunities for career growth
  • Opportunities to take ownership of exciting client engagements (including agencies in  Commonwealth portfolios for Defence, Social Services, Education, Health and ACT local government) across a diverse range of topics
  • Opportunities to collaborate and work directly with Partners and Managers who are committed to your career development
  • On-the-job training through hands-on coaching and mentoring to continue professional development 

The role includes engaging in a variety of audit tasks including:  

  • Scoping, executing and delivery of exciting assurance and advisory projects
  • Reviews of financial, legislative and operational business process controls
  • Assessing enterprise risk management and governance processes
  • Undertaking data analytics using specialist software
  • Preparing written reports
  • Adhering to professional standards and better practice guidance
  • Working collaboratively with Axiom team members and our clients

To be considered for this role you will have:  

  • Australian citizenship and be able to obtain a Government Security clearance
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm, drive, determination and output driven
  • An academic background in Commerce, Information Systems or Public Policy
