The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Australian Steel Market business in our Forrestfield WA team as an Account Coordinator.

Working in an office environment within a team of Coordinators, you will be a key business representative to a dedicated portfolio of customers. You'll partner with our customers maintaining our high standards of service delivery.

This role offers a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain exposure to various parts of the business, allowing you to build your skills and create a pathway for you to grow your career within our large organisation.

What will you do?

Working with our Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Marketing departments to collectively develop customer solutions. This will afford you invaluable exposure to multiple business streams and stakeholders, to grow your professional knowledge and experience. This will see you:

partner with customers from your account portfolio to build a positive experience for them
work with internal teams to provide solutions and deliver products in line with customer business needs
provide our customers with real-time updates on product and service-related matters 
identify improvements with our systems and processes, assisting with implementing changes for internal teams and customers

Who are we looking for?

We welcome applications from recent graduates who are looking to launch or progress their career starting in an internal sales / account coordinator role. This entry level opportunity will provide you with the skills, understanding and foundations required to develop and progress your career with BlueScope.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

relevant bachelor's degree in Commerce, Arts, Business, Engineering or Science
sound interpersonal and communication skills
good problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop resolutions
computer competency to learn our systems
a thirst for learning and taking on new challenges and initiatives.
