Summer Internship Program

The BNY Summer Internship Program provides high-potential students with a well-rounded, rewarding 10-week internship experience, offering insight into working for a global financial services organization that has been innovating and serving clients since 1784. Interns work on challenging projects, collaborate in teams, and build professional networks while developing skills necessary for workforce success.

Asset Servicing

Asset Servicing is a foundational business for BNY, attracting increased client and investor attention while creating growth opportunities across the organization. It provides products and services to help clients such as fund managers, banks, and insurance companies with various parts of their operating models.

Core Services

• Custody: Services to hold, transact, and settle securities and cash to support global investment activities, including safekeeping assets, tax and regulation services, and trust & depositary functions.
• Fund Services: Valuation services and end-investor solutions for retail and institutional funds, with enhanced accounting for complex capital-based fund structures, and specialized offerings in alternatives and ETF servicing.
• Middle Office: Solutions for investment analysis from post-trade execution to end stakeholder communication, such as trade management, derivatives and collateral management, and IBOR services.

Program Eligibility

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program (business or technology majors preferred).
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• No sponsorship required for employment visa status.
