Graduate Program

At Canva, we strive to build a sense of trust and connection. You’ll get to learn from leaders who have been an integral part of building the company and form support networks through our mentorship program. We want you to be as excited as we are about helping people create designs that can change their life. As a Canva employee, you’ll put our values into action behind every task or project you’re assigned, creating a thriving and ideal workplace.

Our graduate programs are open all year round with no set start dates. We accept candidates from a wide range of disciplines. To be eligible you must have graduated within the last 18-months or be in your final year of studying with full legal rights to work in Australia.

Our paid internship program takes place for 12-weeks full-time over the summer in Sydney. Applications open in March to candidates from a range of disciplines and close in June. To be eligible, you must be in your penultimate year of study and have full legal rights to work in Australia.

Social Responsibility

Canva is committed to making a positive impact across all areas of their business operations. Our current initiatives include One Print, One Tree, where, in collaboration with ‘Reduce. Reuse. Grow. Inc.’ we plant a tree in Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar and Haiti for every print order placed. We are very fond of our beehives on the roof of our Sydney Headquarters which produce 250kg of honey each year. Additionally, we regularly visit our sustainability partners, Hebron Farm and Black Duck Foods, to gain a deeper understanding of sustainable food systems for the future.

Achieve more, leave less

In 2021, all our Australian operations are carbon neutral and we are striving towards extending this across to our print operations, where we currently source sustainably and print locally to avoid shipping emissions.

Clean mind and body

Canva chooses to work with ethical, environmentally-friendly suppliers, with our in-house lunches using produce that is sourced largely from organic farms.

Power to the people

Aside from composting all of our organic waste in the office, we are proud to see our climate change collection templates downloaded over 2.6 million times!
