Your 12-week internship placement will be matched with your internship needs and requirements, including start date, location and total length of the work experience placement. Example host companies include:

• General accounting businesses
• Bookkeeping and tax advisory companies
• Accounting departments of different business in various industries

Depending on your host company, your experience may include tasks and learning experiences such as:

• Assisting with statements and financial reports
• Bookkeeping, invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Reporting, auditing and analysis
• Using industry tools like Xero, MYOB, Saasu and Excel

Internship Program Details

The Accounting Internship Program is a 12-week program designed to give you academic credit and study-relevant practical work experience. It comes with a coordination fee, which covers the work experience placement, CV updates, interview training, host company matching and organising interviews. You'll also get a formal internship completion certificate at the end of the placement.
