About Learning Activities and Internship Tasks
CareerDC will match you with an internship host organisation that fits well with your study background, internship needs and location. Whilst your work experience placement tasks will depend on your study background and your particular host company, your internship could include tasks such as:
- Observing and learning about customer service and management
- Developing an understanding of the aged care sector including funding and accreditation
- Learning about different types of aged care settings and systems of documentation
- Observing and learning about managing clinical cases involving musculoskeletal, neurological and cardio-respiratory conditions
