About the host companies and work experience tasks

Work experience placements are coordinated to match your study background, internship needs, location preference and availability. Example host companies include a not-for-profit organisation in the employment and training services sector, a company that offers objective analysis to asset managers and investment product providers and a data and process specialist helping businesses with data intelligence, automation and optimisation.

Your tasks and learning experiences will depend on your particular host company, but could include things such as:

• Supporting process improvement projects
• Designing and implementing data collection processes
• Data cleaning and developing predictive models
• Assisting with coding
• Creating data visualisations
• Contributing to quantitative modelling.
