• The internship program is particularly suitable for you if you are an international student in Australia. The aim of the program is to help engineering students gain relevant and practical work experience with local businesses and to fulfil degree requirements. It is open to domestic students too.

New Graduates and Students With No Internship Requirement

• Have you graduated already? Or what if an internship is not part of your university's requirements? That's fine. You may be able to enrol and combine your work experience placement with an accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.

The 12-week Electrical Engineering Internship Program will be matched with your internship needs and preferences, including start date, duration and location. To give you some examples, the host companies include:

• An energy provider working on smart grid technologies
• An electronics manufacturer focused on industrial applications
• A company developing charging systems for electric vehicles

As another example, and depending on the host company, your internship could include any of the following types of tasks and experiences:

• Designing or reviewing electrical schematics
• Supporting PLC programming or control system testing
• Contributing to data analysis, safety checks and system reports
• Assisting with product testing and quality assurance
