Your internship placement will be matched with your internship requirements and preferences, including start date, duration and location. Example host companies include a construction engineering firm specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects, a technology-driven manufacturing company and a renewable energy organisation focusing on sustainable engineering solutions.

Your tasks and learning experiences will depend on your host company and engineering major but your internship may involve learning experiences like:

• Assisting with designing, drafting and modelling using industry-standard software.
• Supporting quality assurance, system analysis and testing in real-world engineering applications.
• Collaborating with engineers on project management, cost estimation and technical documentation.
• Getting involved in conducting research, simulations and prototype testing to improve engineering designs.
