CareerDC Internships charges a fee for the coordination of each internship program. You'll get a tailored resume, host company matching, interview training, interviews scheduled and coordinated for you, unlimited interviews, a work experience placement relevant to your studies, an accredited WIL course (where applicable) and letter of completion at the end of the placement.

Who Can Apply

Current university students in Australia

• You want to apply your academic learning
• You want degree-relevant Australian work experience
• You need academic credit towards your degree
• Ideal for international students in Australia

Recent graduates or students without an internship requirement

• You want to get hands on experience with an Australian company
• You want to build your skills and add to your CV
• You don't have an academic requirement for an internship
• You may be able to take part in the program by combining the work experience placement with an accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.

About CareerDC

The internship program is coordinated by CareerDC. Since 2011 we've been supporting international, and local, students in Australia in getting degree-relevant internship placements that give you work experience and academic credit towards your degree.

About the Host Companies and Internship Tasks

As an example, the internship host companies include:

• A company that specialises in tech solutions for business and transport industries
• A software development company that uses AI to develop innovative retail products
• A company that designs solutions for the building and automotive industries

Your work experience tasks will depend on your host company. But as an example, your placement could include any of the following types of tasks and learning experiences:

• Learn about database management systems, SQL queries and data integrity
• Assist with the development of software applications to support business processes
• Learn about spotting inefficiencies in business processes and recommending improvements through tech solutions
• Assist in generating reports and analysing data to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning
• Experience using Figma or other suites of tools
