What the CareerDC internship program is about

  • Turn theory into workplace practice
Depending on your host company, you might be exposed to database management, process automation, business analysis or application support, using tools such as SQL, Figma or business intelligence platforms.
  • Develop practical, professional skills
In addition to developing technical skills, you'll gain confidence in communicating within teams, prioritising tasks and collaborating with others, all of which are skills that support your work-readiness.
  • Grow your workplace readiness
Working alongside professionals, you'll improve adaptability, collaboration, and problem-solving while contributing to real projects that impact business operations.

Who can apply?

  • University students in Australia
If you are currently studying information systems or a related degree at an Australian university or college, this program can help you complete your internship requirement and gain professional experience.
  • Graduates and students without a placement requirement
If your course doesn't include an internship component, or you have recently graduated, you may still be able to join the program by combining the placement with an accredited WIL program.
