The Opportunity Council currently has an opportunity for an Aboriginal Cadet Environmental Health Officer. In this six-year cadetship you will:

• Study a Bachelor degree in Environmental Health at Western Sydney University (by distance part-time)
• Have paid study leave
• Have university fees paid for all subjects you pass
• Have structured on-the-job training and mentoring

You will work in the office and out in the community:

• Inspecting swimming pools, food premises and other businesses
• Responding to enquiries and investigating complaints
• Educating to protect health and the environment
• Checking for regulatory compliance
