In this six-year cadetship you will:
06-01-2026- Study a Bachelor degree in Environmental Health at Western Sydney University (by distance part-time)
- Have paid study leave
- Have university fees paid for all subjects you pass
- Have structured on-the-job training and mentoring
- Inspecting swimming pools, food premises and other businesses
- Responding to enquiries and investigating complaints
- Educating to protect health and the environment
- Checking for regulatory compliance
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander by descent and identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted as such by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
- Able to meet the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) at Western Sydney University.
- Current Driver's licence
- Committed to completing your degree part-time while working full-time
- Some knowledge and awareness of environmental health issues
- Well-developed communication and writing skills
- Enthusiastic and able to take direction

- Weekly Salary: $852.22 (T4) plus superannuation
- Hours of work: Temporary Full-time, 35 hours per week
