As a Finance Cadet within the Organisational Performance division, you will gain hands-on experience across various financial functions including revenue, statutory, and management accounting. This role is designed for a university student within the final two years of a Bachelor of Accounting (or similar), offering a structured learning environment that blends academic study with practical, on-the-job training. The cadet will support financial operations, data analysis, compliance, and reporting while contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment. You'll find growth through:
- Assisting with financial reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and analysis of data trends and variances.
- Contributing to audit preparation, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Engaging in continuous learning while working towards completing a Bachelor of Accounting (or similar).
- Within the final two years of completing a Bachelor of Accounting or a related discipline
- Willingness to learn and commit to a structured cadetship program.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Previous administrative or customer service experience in a professional environment
