This position offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience across a varied range of local government accounting functions. You’ll contribute to the effective delivery of financial services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial processes. You bring a strong academic foundation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine interest in Local Government finance. Eager to learn and grow, you actively seek opportunities to develop your professional skills and confidently ask questions to deepen your understanding. To be the successful candidate, you must have completed within the last two years (or nearing completion of), a tertiary qualification in accounting. We are offering a gross salary of $83,781 per annum and:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5% - that’s a total of 22%

• Rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum
