Clyde North Primary School (Interim Name) will be a newly established primary school located within the heart of Berwick Waters Estate, Clyde North, Victoria, Australia. Opening our doors in 2025, our school is determined to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every student can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. The school caters for students from Prep to Grade 6 with a built capacity of 900 students.

Situated amidst the picturesque landscapes of Berwick Waters Estate, our campus will feature modern facilities designed to enhance the learning experience. Spacious classrooms equipped with cutting-edge technology, versatile outdoor spaces, and state-of-the-art amenities create an environment conducive to exploration, creativity, and growth.

At the heart of Clyde North Primary School (Interim Name) will be a strong sense of community and collaboration. We believe in the importance of forging partnerships between home, school, and the wider community to support student success and well-being. Through open communication, parent involvement, and community engagement initiatives, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive school environment where every member feels valued and empowered to contribute positively to society.

Our school will be culturally diverse with a portion of families having a language background other than English (LOTE), with the largest LOTE groups being Punjabi, Sinhalese and Hazaraghi. The school will also have strong representation from the Koorie community.

At Clyde North Primary School (Interim Name), our educational approach will be grounded in evidenced-based teaching and learning practices. Aligned with the Victorian Curriculum standards, our programs will be designed to maximize student achievement and engagement across all subject areas. Program Benefits 

This position attracts an incentive payment of $5,650 (pre-tax) for the successful candidate who meets the eligibility criteria set out under conditions of employment.

Other Information

Graduate teacher recruitment will occur in Term 2, 3 & 4 2024 for commencement of Term 1, 2025.  As we gear up for this exciting milestone, we're committed to providing comprehensive support and growth opportunities for our staff. Please note that additional professional development sessions and meetings may be scheduled outside regular hours and during the summer break to ensure our team is fully equipped for the journey ahead.

Conditions of Employment 

All staff employed by the Department and schools have access to a broad range of employment conditions and working arrangements.

A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment and induction and support programs provided.

• The successful candidate is committing to a minimum of 1 year employment at this school. 
• The successful candidate will not be a Graduate Teacher Incentive recipient from a previous vacancy. 
• The successful candidate must not be employed as a teacher by the Department at the time the advertised position is to commence.
