Administration Officer

 

Are you a law or justice student eager to dive into the legal world? As an Administration Officer at QCAT, you'll be at the forefront of Queensland's justice system, gaining hands-on experience and making a real impact. This role is your gateway to understanding the intricacies of tribunal operations and building a solid foundation for your legal career.

What you'll do:

  • Perform accurate computer-based processing and data entry using QCAT’s file management systems.
  • Prepare and update legal documents using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Manage client and public enquiries effectively using appropriate questioning, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to meet customer service standards and timeframes, ensuring effective hearing support services.
  • Provide accurate information to registry staff and Tribunal members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks as required by Team Leaders and/or Managers to support QCAT services.
