Operating in the Program Development and Governance unit of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) as an Investigations Officer, you will be responsible for the review of audits relative to a business enterprise including the ability to interpret and analyse financial reports. 

• Sound knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge of current issues, legislation and regulatory controls within the gaming industry.
• Ability to undertake minor investigations into possible breaches of legislation and other legislative issues.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures relative to a business enterprise including the ability to interpret and analyse financial reports.
• Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form, including the ability to prepare reports and to communicate and liaise with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in spread sheeting and word processing and the ability to acquire a working knowledge of in-house data base systems.
• Demonstrated ability to priorities workloads and to meet deadlines while sustaining a high-quality output and to work independently or as a member of a team including the ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds and to participate in a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
