- Obtain additional statements from witnesses, order criminal history checks and contact arresting officers for additional information and listing instructions.
- Liaise with and conduct routine correspondence with police officers, other legal practitioners, and court staff.
- Attend to court related filing and maintain appropriate records of documents filed.
- Maintain a thorough and reliable bring-up system for matters dealt with in the Chambers.
- Prepare and arrange the service of subpoenas.
- Sensitively provide information to victims and other witnesses.
- Undertake circuits of up to three weeks duration at centres throughout the State (as required).
