About this role
As a Graduate Environment or Cultural Heritage Officer at TMR, you will help manage environmental and cultural heritage aspects of transport infrastructure projects across Queensland. You’ll support both technical and strategic work, ensuring projects follow state and federal laws. You’ll also work closely with First Nations groups, government agencies, local councils, and community groups.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Provide guidance and support on environmental and cultural heritage matters across regional and major projects.
- Negotiate with First Nations groups to meet legislative obligations and enable project delivery.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align environmental and cultural heritage outcomes with departmental objectives.
- Deliver specialist advice in high-risk and technically complex projects.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, tailoring messages to diverse audiences.

- Project delivery expertise within a cultural heritage and environmental context.
- Ability to convey technical information in a clear, non-technical manner.
