Graduate AI and Automation Sec DevOps Engineer with the Cyber Security Team

To be eligible for our Graduate Program, when submitting your application, you should be:

  • An Australian citizen 
  • Have completed all course requirements for your degree no earlier than November 2022, and must be expecting to complete all course requirements for your degree no later than February 2025 
  • Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Information Technology (Security preferred)

Role starting in Feb 2025

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Development and Deployment:
  - Collaborate with the development team to design and implement automated deployment pipelines for AI and automation systems.
  - Develop and maintain scripts and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  - Ensure that the deployment process follows security best practices and adheres to the organization's security policies.
  - Monitor and troubleshoot deployments, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

2. AI and Automation Systems:
  - Assist in the development and implementation of AI models and automation systems.
  - Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools in the field of AI and automation.
  - Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI models into the organization's systems.
  - Optimize AI models and automation workflows for performance and scalability.

3. Security and Compliance:
  - Implement and maintain security measures to protect AI and automation systems from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
  - Conduct regular security assessments and audits of AI and automation systems to identify and address potential risks.
  - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data privacy and security.
  - Collaborate with the security team to respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures.

4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  - Monitor the performance and availability of AI and automation systems, and proactively identify and address any issues.
  - Implement monitoring tools and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into system health and performance.
  - Investigate and troubleshoot system failures, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement preventive measures.

5. Collaboration and Documentation:
  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of AI and automation systems.
  - Document system architectures, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  - Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  - Participate in knowledge sharing activities, such as conducting training sessions and workshops.
