Our program gives you the flexibility to rotate across our diverse open pit and underground operations. About the role 

Our Metallurgists are responsible for ensuring that key plant operating parameters remain within target, are achieved and are accurately reported. They also monitor and ensure that the consumption of process consumables remains in line with budget, and they carry out continuous improvement projects in the form of metallurgical test work and trials that are aimed at improving gold and copper recovery, processing efficiencies and costs. 

As this is a site-based role, we expect you to work at two different operations across Australia throughout the two-year program. 

About you 

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:  

• Ability to work safely at all times. 
• Effective computer literacy, including spread sheet and database development. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Experience with data management and metallurgical software is highly regarded  
• Vacation work experience within a minerals processing environment is highly regarded 

Prerequisites: A Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar degree completed within the last three years.
