AI Job Summary
Mechanical Engineering Internship: Guaranteed 12-Week Placement
This is a fee-based placement program: $2,700, paid across 6 instalments, about $450 each. Not applicable to student visa holders.
Gradability places graduates into real Australian workplaces. We handle the whole process, matching, prep, and placement, so you're not figuring this out alone.
No experience yet? That's exactly who this is for. Mechanical engineering roles almost always want hands-on Australian workplace experience before they'll even look at your application. This internship is guaranteed: a real host company for 12 weeks, locked in before you even start prep. Not another application disappearing into a black hole.
Before you start, you're matched with a placement consultant who works with you through resume prep, interview practice, and matching to a company based on what you studied and where you actually want to work.
Where you start, and where it can go
- Start on the fundamentals: supporting mechanical design and testing, CAD drawings, documentation.
- Show initiative and you can move into performance analysis, manufacturing or maintenance support, real involvement in engineering decisions.
- Hands-on with the tools real teams use: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or whatever CAD system the host runs.
Do you qualify?
Mechanical engineering degree. No prior experience needed, you're not expected to have it already.
