KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design structural elements/systems to project brief, relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Read, review project documents and materials (drawings, specifications, correspondences etc) to comprehend and develop best structural solutions or/and responses as appropriate.
• Produce accurate computations and present in a set format as required.
• Ensure all deadlines are met.
• Plan and manage assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Work with others cooperatively in multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired project outcomes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• The ideal candidates will be working towards a Degree Engineering (in their 3rd or 4th year).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Time-management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of engineering practices, architectural and structural drawings and building services design principles to complete drawings. 
• Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver required solutions.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to develop high-level technical competence and quality.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
