2025 Graduate Role - Construction Site Engineer - NT Adventure

The Adventure:  

This role is situated in Katherine, three hours south of Darwin. Katherine is known as the crossroads of the Top End: surrounded by World Heritage national parks, bucket-list travel locations and countless trails for those who love 4WDing, mountain biking, hiking and waterfall-chasing.  

You would be diving in with a big project team, who make the most of their weekends and time off exploring Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge), Kakadu, Litchfield, Arnhem Land, Edith Falls, Mataranka and the Kimberley.  

This project is not for the average graduate. This is for the bold. The adventurous. This is for those who don’t want to wait for retirement to see some of the most amazing places in Australia.  

  

The Project:  

Lendlease is proud to be partnering with the Australian Defence Force to deliver $1bn+ of critical infrastructure upgrades and redevelopment at RAAF Base Tindal. The project will enhance air-to-air refuelling and air support capabilities, ensuring we can support critical Defence operations – everything from air combat missions through to responding to natural disasters both at home and throughout our region.  

As a Graduate Site Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the construction project teams responsible for managing the efforts of contractors on site. This will involve supporting the project across safety, quality, cost and program. Most importantly: you will be exposed to a range of disciplines across civil, buildings and services, along with specialist Defence knowledge, giving you a broad foundation to kick-start your career.   

As a Commercial Graduate you have a business-oriented position within a project, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the finance performance of a project through the identification and management of risk and opportunities through the various stages of a project lifecycle including contract management.

The Program:  

As a participant of the two-year Lendlease Graduate Program you will be supported through a structured learning and development program, rotations, dynamic managers, various on the job activities, networking and social activities – allowing you to build lasting relationships with both senior leaders and fellow graduates.

Degrees that are aligned to (but not limited to) these roles are: Construction Management , Engineering (Civil/Structural) Project Management, Cost planning , sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering , Commerce, Business, Law, Economics ,Double Degree: Property/Engineering/Project Management/Construction Management AND Commerce/Business

  • You must hold Australian/ New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency   
  • Graduated with a relevant bachelor’s degree between 2022-2024
  • Must have graduated and be available to work full-time once program commences
  • Submit your CV, academic transcript and proof of Australia Residency or Citizenship

  • The application process includes psychometric testing, video interview and virtual Assessment Centre.  
  • Start your new role in a fulltime capacity from February 2025
