Want to gain experience in the real world of engineering?

As a Fire Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects alongside our experienced team. Based in our Melbourne or Sydney office, you’ll support a range of activities that help shape safe, high-performing buildings.

You’ll get exposure to:

  • Supporting technical problem-solving on fire engineering projects

  • Assisting with research and analysis

  • Contributing to report writing and documentation

  • Learning and applying fire modelling and simulation tools

  • Helping communicate technical concepts in clear, simple ways

Our global fire engineering team develops innovative fire safety strategies that enable architectural freedom while protecting people, property and the environment.

You’ll need to be

  • currently studying a relevant engineering degree e.g. mechanical, electrical, sustainability, structural, mechatronics etc.

  • available to work full-time in the office during the internship period

  • comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • genuinely interested in a career in the engineering sector.
