What you’ll be doing
As a graduate in our structural team, you’ll get hands-on experience working on a variety of projects. While many are based locally, there are also opportunities to contribute to national and international work through our wider network of offices.
You’ll be involved in:
- Designing and analysing structural systems for buildings of all shapes and sizes - this could include anything from commercial office fitouts to large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Working closely with architects, engineers and consultants to make sure structural solutions align with other building systems.
- Using modelling tools to develop practical, buildable and sustainable designs - you’ll be involved from early concepts through to construction documentation.
- Visiting sites to see how your designs take shape and learn how your decisions play out in the real world.

You’ll also gain hands-on experience in consulting, which includes working directly with clients, understanding their needs and learning how to build strong, professional relationships. In the process, you’ll build technical skills and learn what it takes to become a trusted advisor.

- social and networking events
- opportunities to rotate across disciplines
- regular check-ins with senior leaders.
