PAID INTERNSHIP — AI AGENT DEVELOPER

$30/hour | Up to 6 weeks | South Yarra, Melbourne (In-Office)

We are seeking a motivated Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science student to build a personal AI agent system for a Melbourne-based entrepreneur and investor.

This is a hands-on, real-world AI build — not an observational internship.

The Project

You will design and implement a 24/7 autonomous AI system that:

• Monitors ASX stocks and company announcements
• Tracks gold and commodities pricing
• Scrapes Melbourne property listings
• Aggregates global news and macroeconomic updates
• Delivers daily personalised briefings via WhatsApp or email

The system will utilise Claude (Anthropic’s AI) as its core reasoning engine, with n8n or similar automation tools orchestrating workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and connecting AI agents using Python and LangChain (or similar frameworks)
• Integrating external APIs (ASX data, property platforms, news feeds, weather data)
• Building a Telegram bot interface for real-time interaction
• Automating scheduled morning briefings
• Integrating and optimising Claude API for intelligent analysis and summarisation

About You

• 2nd or 3rd year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or similar
• Confident working with Python
• Experience integrating APIs or using automation tools
• Strong interest in AI systems and autonomous agents
• Self-starter with the ability to research, problem-solve and work independently

Bonus (Not Essential)

• Experience with LangChain, n8n, Make or Zapier
• Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
• Interest in financial markets, investing or property
