What will I be doing? 

Working in our Finance function you'll rotate through three teams over the 2-year programme, being exposed to most functions in the finance division to give you the richest experience. 

 

Some teams you could be working in include: 

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – using a set of planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities to support O’Brien’s business decisions and to monitor the businesses financial performance. 

 

Financial Control – exposure to statutory accounts, regulatory compliance, audit, asset accounting and systems accounting in the team that has accounting oversight of O’Brien’s financial records. 

 

Commercial Pricing – responsible for analysing competitor pricing, matched with market expectation to determine the ideal target price for products and services of the O’Brien business. 

 

Strategic Projects – you may be involved in strategic projects as part of your programme. Our teams also lead and deliver transformation and business improvement change across the Finance function which improves our ways of working and enables enhanced business performance. 

 

Who we’re looking for 

To be eligible for this role, you must have graduated, or expect to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Commerce ready for a July 2026 start. You must also have the right to work in Australia for the duration of our programme.
