About the Blasting / Technical Services Graduate opportunities 

As a Blasting Graduate you will work in a growing Technical Services team with the ability to have tangible impact on our day-to-day operations.  Some of your responsibilities may include:  

  • A significant period on site attached to a technical crew to learn the practical, hands-on aspects of blasting  
  • Rotating with the technical crew across shaft blasting, underground blasting, bench blasting, operation of MMU’s (mobile manufacturing units) and shaft/hole loading   
  • Formal in-class learning with a mentor developing blasting concepts skills and product knowledge  
  • Executing project tasks including new product implementation, blast design, blast performance analysis and vibration analysis 

Study Background 

As a Blasting / Technical Services Graduate, you will be studying or have graduated from Mining, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences degrees. 

You will have a Bachelor, Post Graduate or Master’s degree completed in 2023 or due to be completed in 2024. 

In addition, you will have full working rights in Australia (with no restrictions).
 

Locations 

Our 2025 Blasting / Technical Services Graduate opportunities will be based at either our Perth, Mackay, Newcastle, Snowy Mountains or Hunter Valley (Kurri Kurri) offices.  

For our Snowy Mountains opportunity, the graduate will work on a 2 week on, 2 week off FIFO roster from any of the east coast capital cities or Adelaide.
