Role Overview

We are looking for a 2 day per week intern to work closely with the Business Operations Associate supporting the CFO and leadership team who oversee the efficient operation of the investment function while providing business management support across finance, governance, resourcing, and investor engagement. The role acts as a key connector between Investments, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and external providers and plays a central role in responding to RFPs, DDQs, and institutional investor requests.

This role combines strong operational execution with commercial, organisational, and stakeholder management capability.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management & Operations

  • Support day-to-day operational activities across Pinnacle’s network of investment affiliates.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of various asset classes and global financial markets to assist affiliates in fund operations.
  • Facilitate operational setup and support when affiliates expand into new asset classes or markets.
  • Liaise with institutional clients and investors, preparing detailed due diligence and RFI (Request for Information) reports.
  • Coordinate business planning cycles, priorities, and key deliverables across the investment team.
  • Track and manage key operational, commercial, and project milestones.

RFPs, DDQs & Investor / Consultant Requests

  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and ad‑hoc investor or consultant requests.
  • Ensure responses are accurate, consistent, high quality, and aligned with approved disclosures, policies, and investment processes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve a central RFP/DDQ content library in collaboration with Investments, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely, professional delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • This role would suit a final year student who would like to gain experience in business management and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with portfolio and investment reporting systems is desired.

Qualifications

  • Final year student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
