ShoalGrad is unique and designed for passionate, creative, curious systems thinkers, who are excited by solving complex problems.

ShoalGrad is designed to support you for 2 years post qualification and assist you to transition as an emerging professional in your chosen field.

ShoalGrad will expose you to diverse programs of work, while being guided in building professional resilience and identifying a career path aligned with your passions and interests.

ShoalGrad features:

Spans the initial 2 years post-graduation phase
Provides a structured rotational learning experience with a high degree of mentoring and time for professional and personal development
Pairs you with a Mentor to help you navigate the program and plot your career path
Promotes and encourages connection and collaboration with the ShoalGrad community, nationally
Offers connection days in the months leading up to your start date to help prepare for your adventure

Our focus for our 2024 intake, is on graduates with a keen interest in a career in Defence or Transport and Infrastructure, particularly rail.

About you

As one of our Graduate Engineers, you will need:

A degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Varied extra curricula interests and achievements
A collaborative and consultative approach
A willingness to get involved and experience a range of projects
A passion for solving complex problems
A systems thinking approach
A curiosity about a broad range of defence, space, and transport capabilities
A willingness to work in Adelaide, SA (relocation assistance will be available)

Special requirements:

Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance.

International export control regulations may apply to some projects and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
