2025 Information Technology Emerging Talent Program

We want the University of Melbourne to be a leader in using Information Technology to support its education, research and operational objectives and we’re excited for our Emerging Talent to help us get there. If you want to do what you love but do it with impact, this is your place. 

The IT Emerging Talent Program: 

The University of Melbourne IT Emerging Talent Program will begin in February and run for two years, consisting of three 8-month rotations. Your tailored rotations across technology domains and teams will give you a fantastic platform to accelerate your career.

The program will consist of: 

• Rotations that are tailored to your skills, knowledge, and career goals
• A dedicated mentor and exposure to the senior leadership team
• Experiences that leverage the breadth and depth of the work our technology teams do

To be eligible for our 2025 Graduate Program, you'll need to have: 

• Either Australian citizenship, New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency or hold an Unrestricted Working Right (at the time of submitting this application) 
• Have completed your degree within the last 3 years (ie. 2022, 2023, 2024) or be completing your degree by January 2025. 
• Able to commence full-time employment by the required start date of February 2025.
