We are a Newcastle (NSW)-based media company with over 300 SME clients throughout the Hunter Region. We are a dynamic and fun business with a tight-knit team, publishing across numerous print and digital platforms.

We are looking for a Marketing or Communications graduate who is passionate about providing exceptional client service to help clients achieve their marketing goals. This role is responsible for administrating all advertising content and providing customer service support across our range of monthly, seasonal and bi-annual publications with print, digital and online components.

This multifaceted, hands-on role involves:

Working with clients to develop advertising material across all platforms (traditional and digital);
Briefing the creative team on client advertising requirements and liaising between the client and our team to achieve approved output;
Creating, collating and uploading written content to appear across all platforms; including print, web, social and direct mail;
Creating and distributing e-Newsletters to support all products;
Managing and creating content for social media accounts to support all products;
Monthly reporting of advertising campaigns to clients.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have completed (or will soon complete) a tertiary qualification in Advertising/Media/ Communications/Marketing or similar discipline and have a passion for media
Be located in the Newcastle/Hunter region of NSW - this position is located in-office at Adamstown.
Have an excellent phone manner, a 'can-do' attitude and a desire to provide exceptional client service
Demonstrate astute attention to detail alongside strong organisational, time management and administration skills.
Be creative with engaging written communication skills
Demonstrate an ability to take the initiative, be an enthusiastic learner and be a team player.
Have an excellent work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Products - Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. In addition, experience with Adobe products (especially Illustrator) would be highly regarded, as would previous experience with the Wix platform and/or Canva.
Have a good understanding of social media platforms.
Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously but not be afraid to ask for help.
