About Us:

Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering is a highly-respected Tier 2 civil contracting company based in Sydney and has been operating for nearly 50 years. The company undertakes a diverse range of civil engineering and environment projects and has a strong reputation for valuing our employees.

We seek an HR Administrator to undertake the following:

\r\n

Managing the online performance review system to ensure reviews run efficiently and effectively
Updating employee records
Providing support to staff and management with employment-related and HR issues that may arise
Assisting with onboarding and offboarding
Drafting letters of offer
Ensuring PD's are accurate and assisting in the creation of new and amended PD's
Coordinating interviews for management
Providing general administrative support to the broader team as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n

Prior experience as an HR coordinator or relevant administrative experience combined with tertiary studies in HR
A positive and collaborative approach to their work
Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Good organizational and time management skills
The ability to handle information with confidentiality
A detail oriented work style
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

This role will be based from our offices in Lane Cove West (however, you may also choose to work some of the time from home).

\r\n

This position may suit someone who is interested in “picking up where they left off”, or equally someone starting their HR career who has administration experience. The more HR experience you have, the more challenging and diverse the role may become!
