Zango is a Canberra-based company that’s changing the world of real estate property portals.

We are a young and rapidly growing company and we need help with all the work we want to get done. We have two positions available in our tech team.

\r\n

Our new Junior Software Engineer will be a recent graduate (or be about to graduate) in the IT Space or can show they are just as passionate about tech and looking to learn in the real world.

\r\n

This position is ready to go and we are looking for a clever, motivated human being who wants to slot into the role.

\r\n

We want you to work with us if:

\r\n

You want to be a really useful engine across the entire product stack. Extra marks if you have skill points in any of the following: Python, Django, Django Restful Framework, Redis, React, Next.js, React-Native and any database technologies.
You care about software architecture, efficiency and writing clean maintainable code.
You care about the quality of your work enough that you test it yourself before others test it.
You care even more about making our clients happy. We live to support our clients and their businesses, we are here to make their lives easier. You’re not scared of providing clients with technical, emotional, spiritual or any other support they may need. It’s core to who we are.
You want to work in an Agile team environment and you know Agile doesn\'t mean do whatever and hope it pans out.
You like off-loading the boring app dev and support stuff to other platforms so you can get on with the bits that matter. You have used platforms like AWS, Mapbox and Cloudflare to do just that.
You know how to manipulate data and can slice it a bunch of different ways to help make a decision.
You like to work in an office with a bunch of other like-minded people who just want to get things done. Bonus points if you can cook something tasty for team meetings.

We are a small team so you will be expected to help out wherever you can in the tech space, whether that is developing, researching, getting services running again, updating caching rules or working through issues with users to create a better experience.
