About the Role
Working as part of our established Geoscience and Remediation Services (GRS) team, you will collaborate with a team of environmental engineers, scientists, hydrogeologists and geologists to provide contaminated land assessment, environmental monitoring, and remediation consulting across a wide range of projects, including those in the oil and gas, mining, Department of Defence, and public sectors. The role involves working on challenging projects across various industries, with a focus on fieldwork supported by office-based tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work on remote client sites, collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
How you'll make a difference:
- Assist with fieldwork and environmental data collection across a variety of project sites, including short, medium and / or long-term site programs, and occasionally work interstate to support the national GRS team as opportunities arise.
- Support soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater monitoring programs.
- Contribute to contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.
- Collect, handle, and manage environmental samples from a range of media, ensuring sample quality.
- Manage contamination data inputs and outputs.
- Prepare and support the development of technical environmental reports.
- Collaborate with offices across Australia and New Zealand, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a relevant Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree.
- Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
- Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
