About the Role 

Our Sustainability and Resilience team specialises in helping communities adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of climate change. We focus on managing climate impacts, improving resilience, driving sustainable infrastructure development, and supporting organisations on their journey to net zero. Working with sustainability leaders across Australia, New Zealand, and our global practice, we deliver meaningful outcomes that contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.

How you’ll make a difference

As a Graduate Consultant, you will be a core part of our project teams, supporting a wide variety of clients and industries. You will:

  • Support the delivery of projects in climate adaptation and resilience, infrastructure sustainability, and net zero carbon management.
  • Analyse complex data (quantitative and qualitative) to identify climate-related risks, impacts, and opportunities for clients.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and technical assessments to inform project recommendations and client strategies.
  • Assist with client workshops, stakeholder engagement, and project meetings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (including engineers, planners, economists, and scientists) to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.
  • Support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and similar regulatory approval processes.
  • Assist in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables that communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Planning, Law (e.g., Urban Planning, Public Policy, Sustainability, Environmental Law).

We'd be especially excited if your application shows engagement with topics like these, whether through university units, industry internships, or volunteer experience:

  • Climate Change Adaptation or Resilience
  • ESG Reporting / TCFD / Climate-related Disclosures
  • Carbon Accounting / Greenhouse Gas Management
  • Sustainable Finance / Climate Economics
  • Infrastructure Sustainability (ISC) or Green Star
  • GIS, Data Analysis, or Environmental Modelling

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a relevant Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree. 
  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
