Our Building Engineering Team is looking for a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to join us in Brisbane. You will work alongside a supportive team on a variety of projects, providing assistance with technical fire protection design services for sectors such as defence, aviation, data centres, education, and health.
Fire Safety Engineering Intern
Join our Buildings & Places team in Brisbane as a Fire Safety Engineering Intern. With a strong pipeline of exciting projects ahead, this is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of fire safety engineering, supporting the team in delivering fire engineering projects from early concept through to completion.
Requirements for Success
- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree relevant to the role you are applying for.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027 (flexible).
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. Depending on the role and business requirements, we may also consider applications from candidates on student or graduate visas.
