Our Graduate Program
Our program includes structured rotations designed to immerse you in different areas of the business over two years. These rotations provide hands-on experience, build a broad skill set, and help you develop a strong understanding of the organisation to prepare you for your future career.
Throughout the program, you’ll take part in tailored learning and development designed for early-career professionals. You’ll have access to LinkedIn Learning for self-paced growth, along with workshops and resources focused on building core skills like communication, leadership, and time management.
Your rotations:
During your time with Ampol, you will join the Supply and Optimisation department and have exposure to Risk and Growth strategy, Supply Scheduling, business to business (B2B) pricing, and Product Quality management. You will be supported by leaders and the program as you work your way through your rotations prior to your permanent placement.
During your time with Ampol, you will join the Business 2 Business (B2B) department and have exposure to the BID team (Tenders to customers), Customer Experience, Ampol Card Product team, Lubricants Product Marketing team, Commercial and Card. About you
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about growing critical skills necessary for professional growth, leadership in a fast-paced, commercial and strategic B2B environment. You will bring with you strong business acumen, the ability to engage stakeholders effectively, commercial and strategic thinking, as well as excellent communication and influencing skills.
Qualification criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce and recently graduated
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and drive commercial objectives
- Agile and adaptive mindset to navigate changing environments and priorities
- Commercial and strategic thinking to support business growth and decision-making
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities to engage diverse stakeholders
