What to expect in your 8-week Finance Internship

- You’ll build relationships with professionals across ANZ, from peers to senior leaders.
As a Finance intern, you will spend time in one of the following departments: Financial Control, Financial Performance Management, Finance Systems, Data and Innovation, Finance Operational Risk and Governance, Financial Business Partnering, Group Tax and Group Treasury.
The types of work you could be involved in include:
- Financial Control: Delivers accurate and timely financial information to a range of internal and external stakeholders. The team is also accountable for the Bank’s statutory and regulatory reporting obligations, while accelerating automation and standardisation of our financial reporting capabilities.
- Finance Systems, Data and Innovation: Protects the integrity of the Bank's finance systems and continuously improve our financial performance reporting applications to ensure they’re fit-for-purpose. The team also drives innovation by embedding emerging technologies to deliver greater value to customers.
- Financial Performance Management: Delivers financial strategic planning, forecasting and insightful reporting to support informed decision-making. The team also quantifies investment benefits and productivity.
- Business Partnering: Provides strategic insight and financial analysis to the divisions they support, with a deep understanding of business performance. As a trusted partner, the team contributes to the division’s strategic operating plans and forecasting.
