Our Engineering Program Stream (Power)
In joining our Engineering Program in 2026, you'll receive dedicated mentorship from a team of experts invested in building your technical competency to maximise your potential.
You will have unique opportunities across NEM / WEM and off-grid assets as APA is Australia's only High Voltage DC interconnector operator. You'll get to experience our diverse portfolio of assets up close and gain exposure to gas-fired baseload and peaking generation, renewables including Wind, Solar and BESS, plus high voltage transmission.
Join us in our journey to run and optimise our existing assets. and build new assets.

About You
- You're currently completing your final year of an electrical or power engineering degree, (or completed studies within the last 12 months)
- You're available to commence your full-time career in March 2026
- You've maintained an overall credit average (65 WAM or GPA equivalent)
- You're an Australian / New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident at time of application
