The team

ASIC's Enforcement and Compliance Group (ECG) is responsible for the conduct of ASIC's initial inquiries, compliance and enforcement work across all sectors excluding markets.  The ECG comprises Investigation and Enforcement Action, Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance, Enforcement (Evidence) Services and Enforcement Policy and Practice.

The Business Management Unit is responsible for directing and undertaking business management and support services for ECG.

The role

As a Business Administration Officer, you will:

  • Support the Business Management Advisor in providing secretariat services/meetings coordination to ASIC's ECG governance forums.
  • Support the Business Management Advisor in maintaining SharePoint directories, sites and other information sources.
  • Create secure SharePoint sites in accordance with ASIC's records management policies and procedures.
  • Create and close cases in CRM on behalf of ECG teams.
  • Provide CRM system support to ECG teams and escalate inquiries to other ASIC specialist teams as required to ensure business problems are effectively resolved.
  • Facilitate the creation of and access to timesheets and project codes in consultation with ASIC's Finance team.
  • Administratively manage the Statutory ID Card process.
  • Participate in the review, development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative back up support as required to the ECG Executive Assistants.

About you

  • Relevant experience in a regulatory agency, legal services or professional services highly desirable, including secretariat/meetings coordination and administrative skills.
  • Experience analysing and interpreting information to provide solutions or advice to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience working independently and being accountable for outcomes.
  • Experience using a variety of software applications including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Office to process, store, retrieve and report on information.
  • Problem solving skills for investigating and resolving stakeholder system issues.
  • Customer service or internal stakeholder management experience including building, maintaining and utilising networks and relationships.
