About the role
Planning & Analysis focus on understanding how the network performs and how it should evolve.
- Assess network performance, analyse modelling outputs, and apply engineering judgement to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Translate complex technical insights into clear, concise communication for planners, system engineers, delivery teams and operational stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across teams and projects, coordinating inputs and supporting end‑to‑end delivery.
- Operate confidently in dynamic environments, backing recommendations with evidence, navigating differing views, and adapting as priorities shift.
Design & Delivery help turn engineering concepts into safe, buildable, real‑world network assets.
- Contribute to the practical design and delivery of substations, transmission lines and other network assets, working closely with internal specialists and external partners.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively across planning, design, delivery, operations and field teams to ensure alignment on risks, timelines and constraints.
- Participate in on‑site activities and customer interactions, resolving design issues and translating plans into real‑world outcomes.
- Apply analytical rigour when reviewing modelling outputs, interpreting data, completing calculations and preparing drawings; familiarity with AutoCAD (or willingness to learn) is advantageous.
